Why are you doing this?

My name is Will Cady and music is my life.  I started writing and performing 11 years ago and since then have gotten involved in a few projects.  I have my rock band thing, I have my acousticy poetic thing, I have my writer thing, I have my job.  Fortunately for me, all of those things help me to express myself.  This is the place where I tie all of that together so I can see the forward progress I am making.

This blog came from a conversation I had with my friend, Big Mike.  He has always been close to the process of creating music for The Help.  He would sit in on our practices from time to time to check out our new material and share his thoughts with us.  He would be one of the first people in line when we walked off the stage after a stellar show…and sometimes a shitty show.

In our conversation, he was remarking on the value of that experience with The Help.  He said he would love to see some artist, musician, etc. create a blog in which they completely exposed themselves artistically to the world.  Full artistic disclosure.  That’s the mission of this blog.

Soon enough, the final products of my work will be released and when that day comes, you can always check back here to see how it happened.

If you would like to reach me for music, writing, photography, or anything else, you can email me at: willcady@gmail.com
